Our view

Who it suits
A solo traveller with a connection of about six to ten hours who does not want to clear immigration, or cannot.
Why we would choose it
You go straight from your gate to a pod inside the secure area, with no immigration, no visa question and no transfer.
The compromise
A pod, not a hotel room: a bed and little else, one adult per pod, in fixed time blocks, and it costs about as much as a landside hotel.
Worth paying more?
For a gap of eight hours or less, yes. For a longer layover or a couple, a landside hotel costs less if you may enter Dubai.
