What we look for
We keep short lists short, so a stay has to earn its place. It is the right fit if it is clearly the best answer for one terminal and one situation, such as an early flight from Terminal 5 or a late arrival into Terminal 2. Independent places, such as a guesthouse or a well-run short let, are as welcome as chain hotels.
What to tell us
- The name and address, and a link to its own website.
- Which terminal it suits and how guests get to the airport: walk, shuttle, train or taxi, and how long each takes.
- Which situation it suits: early flight, late arrival, overnight connection, long layover or family trip.
- The honest compromise: what a guest gives up by choosing it.
- Whether you own or run it. Say so, it does not rule it out.
What happens next
We read every suggestion. If it looks right we check the details ourselves before it goes on a short list, and it is marked as unverified until we have. We cannot promise a place, and a suggestion does not buy one: see how we earn.
