We start with your flight
A recommendation begins with a terminal and a situation, such as an early flight, a late arrival or an overnight connection. A hotel that is right for one can be wrong for another, so we write a separate short list for each.
We count the whole cost
The room rate is only part of it. Every stay is shown with how you reach the terminal, how long that takes door to check-in, and what the transfer costs. The totals we show are the room plus the transfer.
Every pick answers four questions
- Who does it suit?
- Why would we choose it?
- What is the compromise?
- Is it worth paying more?
We never leave out the compromise.
We keep the list short
A short list has a few stays, each there for a reason. We are not a directory and we do not rank by price alone.
How the site is paid for
You book with the provider, not with us. We may earn a commission if you do. It never decides what we recommend. A stay is on a short list because it is the right answer, whether or not we earn anything from it.
