This is a plain-language summary, written for the site as it is today. We will update it before adding anything that changes it.
What we collect
- Only what you give us. If you use a form, such as Contact or Suggest a stay, we keep what you type in it, including your email address.
- How the site is used. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. If you choose Allow analytics, Google sets cookies and records your visit. If you choose No thanks, it sets no cookies, but Google still receives a basic signal that a page was opened, which can include your IP address and device details, and uses it to estimate traffic.
What we use it for
- Your email address is used to send what you asked for, such as the short list you chose, and to reply to your message. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.
- Visit and click counts tell us which pages and stays are useful.
Who else sees it
When you follow a booking link you leave this site, and the booking provider's own privacy policy applies. They may use cookies to credit us for the booking. We do not sell your information.
Cookies
The only cookies we ask to set are Google Analytics cookies, and only if you allow them. You can change your mind at any time with Analytics choice in the footer. We do not set cookies for advertising.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Contact us and we will do it.
