Getting to your terminal

A stay only makes sense for some terminals. Here is what the journey takes from the hotel to check-in at each one.

Our view

Who it suits: Anyone on a budget with a flight from Terminal 1 or 3, an early start or a late arrival, who is happy to ride a shuttle.
Why we would choose it: It is the cheapest of our Dubai airport hotels and sits by the Terminal 3 side, with a free shuttle between the two main terminals and a rooftop pool.
The compromise: A budget hotel: rooms are compact, breakfast is often extra, and the shuttle runs every 30 minutes rather than on demand.
Worth paying more?: Usually not. Pay more if you want a full-service hotel or a shorter, more flexible transfer.

What you get

The practical details that matter for one night before or after a flight.

Shuttle: Free shuttle to Terminals 1 and 3, about every 30 minutes per the hotel. The hours are not confirmed.
Rooms: Newer-style rooms with a Silentnight mattress, a refreshment tray, a fridge and soundproofing. Check family rooms with the hotel: its page did not mention them.
Pool and gym: Rooftop pool and a gym.
Breakfast: Often an extra: about AUD 22 a person on the dates we saw. Some rates include it.
Metro: The Dubai Metro is about a 10-minute walk, per the hotel.
