Why we would choose it: There is no shuttle to Terminal 2, so you take a metered taxi, about AUD 12 one way. The cheapest range after Premier Inn, with a Metro station 500 m away and accessible rooms.
The compromise: A budget brand with small rooms, and a taxi from Terminal 2.
Worth paying more?: No. Pay more only for space or a pool.

The compromise: Compact rooms, breakfast is usually extra, and a taxi from Terminal 2.
Worth paying more?: No. The saving is real, but the room is basic.

The compromise: It costs much more in December and March.
Worth paying more?: Worth it in summer. In December, a budget hotel is cheaper by a wide margin.
