Where to stay on an overnight connection at Melbourne Airport's domestic terminals

The short answer: Stay at PARKROYAL. Its skybridges reach Terminal 2 and Terminals 1 and 3, so landing from overseas tonight and flying domestic in the morning is a walk at both ends. For Terminal 4, stay at Novotel.

Who it suits
Landing at Terminal 2 and flying Qantas or Virgin Australia the next morning, or any connection through Terminals 1 and 3.
Why we would choose it
The hotel lists covered skybridges to Terminals 1, 2 and 3, so both ends of the night are a short indoor walk.
The compromise
The most expensive here, and it does not link to Terminal 4.
