Inside security
Some terminals are joined by walkways behind security. We could not confirm the full set of links. Treat the route in your head as a guess and check LAX's terminal map before a tight connection.
Outside security
If you leave security, for example to reach a hotel, the connection is by shuttle bus or on foot along the curb. The people mover is meant to replace the buses but has missed its opening dates.
International to domestic
After TBIT you clear immigration and customs, collect your bags and recheck them if your next flight is on a separate booking or a domestic carrier. Allow more time than you would at a smaller airport.
