Where to stay near Brisbane Airport Domestic Terminal with a family

The short answer: Novotel has the family rooms and the pool, and its shuttle takes the luggage. Pullman has rooms for four within a five-minute covered walk. No standard room at either sleeps five; for five, book two rooms or an apartment.

Who it suits
Families who want space, a pool and a shuttle.
Why we would choose it
Standard Double and Premier Twin have two double beds and sleep four. Up to two children 12 and under stay free, and the rooftop pool gives them somewhere to burn energy.
The compromise
It is at Skygate, so you need the shuttle or the free Skygate bus to reach the terminal.
Worth paying more?
For a family, yes: the pool and the space are worth more than the shortest walk.

Who it suits
Families who want an apartment and a kitchen.
Why we would choose it
Two-bedroom apartments sleep five, with a full kitchen and free parking. It is the only option here that sleeps five in one unit.
The compromise
No airport shuttle, so add a taxi; all rooms are upstairs and the restaurant is closed.
Worth paying more?
If you are staying more than one night, maybe. For one night, Novotel is simpler.
