Only a handful of routes run at first, so check that your airline is flying before you book a hotel here. Schedules will fill out over the coming months.
Getting to the airport
- By road. The M12 motorway opened in March 2026. It links the M7 to the airport and is toll-free. There is a free 15-minute pick-up and drop-off zone. Car park prices are under Parking below.
- By bus. A free WSI Link bus is reported to run from St Marys station about every 30 minutes. Free services are also reported from Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown and Leppington. We have not confirmed first and last runs.
- By shuttle. Super Shuttle WSI runs express electric buses from the terminal to Parramatta, the Sydney CBD and Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport, timed around flights. Launch fares for one adult, one way, are $25 to Parramatta, $55 to the city and $65 to Sydney Airport. Book at supershuttle.com.au/wsi, or buy at kiosks at the terminal from 25 October. These are launch prices, so check before you travel.
- By train. The Sydney Metro line from St Marys is not ready. Reports put its opening in 2027 or later.
- Taxi and rideshare. Uber has its own pick-up zone, with 10 bays, about 100 metres from the terminal. We have not confirmed how taxis work at the terminal yet.
Parking
There are three car parks. Long-stay (P4) is the cheapest and is a free shuttle ride from the terminal. Saver and Premium are a two to three minute walk away. Booking online costs less than driving up, and the longer you park, the less each day costs. We priced online bookings on 20 October 2026:
| Days | Long-stay (P4) | Saver | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $14 | $24 | $46 |
| 2 | $27 | $48 | $70 |
| 3 | $39 | $72 | $86 |
| 4 | $51 | $81 | $97 |
| 8 | $91 | $113 | $136 |
| 15 | $119 | $175 | $210 |
- Long-stay is the cheapest whatever the length of your trip. After the eighth day, each extra day costs about $4.
- In Saver, the fourth day costs just $9, so four days costs little more than three.
- Premium costs the most at every length. You're paying for the shortest walk.
- You're charged by the day, so getting back a few hours late can add a whole day. Price your real return time.
- These are launch prices and may go up. Drive-up prices are higher: $15, $29 and $49 for one day.
Flying overseas? Premium here costs about a third less than Sydney Airport's P7 for trips of up to a week. See international parking compared with Sydney Airport.
Lounge
The airport's first lounge, The Rayleigh Lounge, is due to open in November 2026, before the holiday rush. dnata runs it. It is on the terminal's mezzanine level, with views across the airfield to the Blue Mountains, and has a bar, an open kitchen, Wi-Fi, charging and three private shower suites. It opens with about 80 seats and is built to grow to about 130.
It is for international flyers. Eligible Singapore Airlines passengers can use it once that airline's flights start on 23 November, and passengers of other international airlines as their flights begin. The airport has not said exactly who qualifies, whether you can pay to get in, or the lounge's hours. There is no domestic lounge yet, so Jetstar passengers have no lounge to use.
If you need a shower before a late flight and are not sure you will get into the lounge, a late checkout at your hotel is the safer plan for now.
Where to stay
