A stay only makes sense for some terminals. Here is what the journey takes from the hotel to check-in at each one.

Our view

Who it suits: Budget travellers, and anyone on a short stay before an early domestic flight.
Why we would choose it: The airport lists it a few minutes' walk from Terminals 2 and 3, and lists a shuttle to all three terminals from 05:00 to 23:00.
The compromise: It is basic, and the shuttle is not free: it costs AUD $13 per person, each way, if you are heading to Terminal 1.
Worth paying more?: This is the low-cost option. Pay more for another hotel only if you want a restaurant and a larger room.

The practical details that matter for one night before or after a flight.

Family rooms: A Family Room of about 18 square metres with one double bed and two singles, sleeping four. A triple with a queen and a single bunk sleeps three.
Terminal 1: About a five-minute drive, by the airport's page.
Parking: Parking not confirmed; ask the hotel.
