- Who it suits
- Layovers of ten hours or more and overnight gaps, when you want shops, food and Darling Harbour within a short walk.
- Why we would choose it
- Listings put Town Hall station three to four minutes away on foot and Darling Harbour about five. You are in the middle of the city without needing another ride.
- The compromise
- The train costs about $22 a person each way, and we could not confirm a direct service to Town Hall, so allow for a change at Central. We found no day rate, so you pay for a full night.
- Worth paying more?
- Only if you have the hours. Under about ten, stay at the airport.
Getting to your terminal
A stay only makes sense for some terminals. Here is what the journey takes from the hotel to check-in at each one.
