Which terminal at Changi Airport?

The short answer: T1, T2 and T3 are linked by Skytrain and walkways, with an airside transit hotel in each and a landside hotel at T3. T4 stands apart, has no hotel and needs a shuttle. Airlines move, so check your ticket before you choose.

Last checked · How we check

Changi is four terminals, a Jewel and a city. The terminal decides most of the hotel question, so start with your ticket.

T1, T2 and T3 work as one

Skytrain runs between them for free, and there are link bridges in the public area and travellators in the transit area. Each has an airside transit hotel on Level 3 of the departure transit hall, and Crowne Plaza stands beside T3 on the public side. So for these three, the hotel you pick matters more than the terminal you leave from.

T4 is the exception

Terminal 4 has no hotel and no walk to the others. A shuttle bus links it with T1/Jewel, T2 and T3 in the public area, about 10 minutes. A separate transit shuttle serves passengers who stay airside, and they need a through-checked itinerary to use it. Treat T4 as a stay at another terminal plus a shuttle, and give the shuttle and security a proper buffer.

Which airline, which terminal

Our third-party sources put Qantas, British Airways, Emirates and Scoot at T1, Singapore Airlines at T2 and T3, and Jetstar, Cathay Pacific and AirAsia at T4. We could not confirm this on Changi's own pages, and airlines move, so read your ticket or the airline's page.

What it means for your stay

  • Connecting and staying airside: a transit hotel at T1, T2 or T3.
  • Allowed into Singapore: Crowne Plaza at T3 or YOTELAIR at Jewel.
  • At T4: choose a stay at T1 to T3 and allow for the shuttle.
