DFW Airport Terminal F: what we know before it opens in 2027

The short answer: Terminal F is due to start opening in 2027, with its own check-in, security and baggage, a link to Skylink and a walk to Terminal D. We found no hotel announced for it.

Last checked · How we check

Terminal F is a new terminal for American Airlines at DFW. Groundbreaking was in November 2024, and the first phase is due to open in 2027. Reports say the plan has grown from 15 gates to 31.

What it will have

  • Its own check-in, security and baggage, per reports.
  • A link to Skylink, the free train inside security.
  • A walking connection to Terminal D.

What it means for hotels

We found no hotel announced for Terminal F. The Grand Hyatt in Terminal D is the nearest hotel to the planned walk link, but no walk time has been published. We will update this when DFW does.

What we could not confirm
