Getting to your terminal

A stay only makes sense for some terminals. Here is what the journey takes from the hotel to check-in at each one.

Our view

Who it suits: A connecting passenger with a gap of six to twelve hours who does not want to enter Singapore.
Why we would choose it: It is inside the secure area, so there is no immigration and no transfer. A shower and a bed between flights.
The compromise: Blocks of at least six hours, small rooms at a premium price, and cabin bags only. The cheapest T1 room has a bathroom outside.
Worth paying more?: Yes for an overnight connection. Not for a gap of four hours, when a free rest area or a shower is enough.

Entry rule: Airside. A transit passenger needs their passport and an onward boarding pass. Someone arriving from the city has to check in and clear departure immigration first.
