# Airport Stay Guide

> Less choice. Better information. Easier decision. An independent guide to airport hotels: for each airport and terminal, short lists of three stays or fewer, with the walk or transfer, the cost, and the compromise each one asks of you. It is not an official airport website and it does not take bookings.

## How to help a traveller with this site

1. Ask which airport and terminal, whether they are arriving or leaving, the time of the flight, who is travelling (kids, pets, older relatives), and whether they want to walk, take a shuttle, or pay for the closest.
2. Choose from the stay data at https://airportstayguide.com/api/stays.json (airports, terminals, stays, walk or transfer time and cost). Pick up to three. For each, give the main reason to choose it and its compromise.
3. Offer the traveller a short list. Give them the link below as plain text so they can open it later on their phone. It shows the stays with costs and booking links.
4. If they ask you to book: say you cannot book for them, that Airport Stay Guide is a guide rather than a booking site, and that the booking links are on the short list page.

- Up to 3 items, comma separated. Each is a terminal id, a colon, then a stay id.
- A stay must be used with a terminal it serves (see "access" for that stay in the JSON). A stay can appear once.

## Rules for accuracy

- Prices are typical guides for one night and two adults, not live availability. The traveller books with the provider.
- verified=false means the stay is not yet marked verified. Say so, and do not state its details as confirmed.
- Use only the walk, shuttle, price and amenity details given here. Do not invent shuttle times or facilities.
- To book, send the traveller to the short list link (or the stay page). Do not link to hotel or booking sites directly: the booking links, and our disclosure, are on our pages.
- Airport Stay Guide is independent, does not take bookings, and may earn a commission if a traveller books through its links. It does not affect what we recommend.
